Summary

I am currently a 1st year carpentry apprentice turning 2nd year later this month. I started my apprenticeship whilst completing year 11 at high school and have been working full time with a small carpentry/building team whilst also attending Tafe 1 day per week since the start of this year.

I totally enjoy the work I have been doing and have been able gain some experience in demolition, framing, fix-outs, decks, concreting, cladding, hanging doors and some other aspects of the industry. I have my own transport, my basic hand tools and some power tools. I am able to perform all basic tasks that would be expected of someone with my experience and more, given the opportunity.

My strengths and positive attributes are that I am reliable, hard working, punctual and work well with other people. I am keen to gain as much experience and knowledge in the industry whilst completing my apprenticeship. I feel that I can contribute to a team but I am also very willing to learn from others with more experience than myself.
