- As this was an oil field FIFO job there was various standard tasks associated with industrial projects such as - containment , cable pull , light install etc , but i was in charge of a more technical role which was the first project of this kind to take place across any CNRL sites .(canadian natural resource limited) - working on wiring and commissioning approx 350 , 600V motor control buckets/panels from a wiring diagram while the plant was in operation without incident . this task involved pulling the buckets off a live 600v bus and retrofitting them with new allen bradly parts (e300 relays/breakers etc). This project also got rid of the old devicenet system and replace it with a new ethernet system to each of the motors so it was more reliable. i could go on for hours about this project about its complexities and problems we ran into but over all it was a huge success .
- removal & installation of 300HP VFDS/VSD in live electrical buildings . Wirewire commission and install critical instruments needed for plant operations such as - PT , TT , FT , FV .
