Operating and maintaining a variety of heavy machinery and plant equipment used in civil construction, including, but not limited to, excavators, loaders, and rollers. A critical role in ensuring that site operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. Also other work required outside my job scope are Operating EWP, Working at Heights, Enter & work in Confined space, Dogging, Franna Operations and Steel fixing.

Key Responsibility's:

• Operate plant machinery to perform tasks such as excavation, grading, earthmoving, and trenching.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on plant equipment.
• Interpret and work from plans, drawings, and instructions provided by supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with other site workers, tradespeople, and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
• Report faults, breakdowns, or unsafe conditions to the maintenance or site manager immediately.
• Maintain accurate logs of machine operation, servicing, and fuel usage.
• Follow site environmental management plans to minimize disruption and impact.

• The Bore- Fields Technician is responsible for operating various machines and vehicles (Light Vehicles, Loaders, Cranes, Excavators as required to maintain bore fields infrastructure, such as; installations and removal of bores; installation/repairs of bore pipework; carry out area inspections and assist fitters as required within the job area.
• Installed and maintained equipment in various field locations.
• Collaborated with team members to ensure project deadlines were met.
• Conducted troubleshooting and repairs on malfunctioning systems.
• Communicated regularly with management regarding progress made on assigned projects or tasks.

• Assist with Drilling Operations as per the drilling program under the guidance of the drilling supervisor and Drillers.
• Provide Assistance to the drillers including:
• Transporting the drill rig and equipment
• Ensure pre starts undertaken for all equipment in use
• Setting up, Rigging down and moving of the drill rig
• Cleaning up of oil or chemical spills
• Making the hole, placing and seating the casing, and abandoning or capping bores
• Digging and maintaining mud pits and drains
• Driving, loading, and unloading of vehicles
• Refueling of vehicles and plant
• Ensuring all equipment, spare parts and consumables supplies are maintained.
• Operate ancillary equipment including setting up and dismantling.
• Maintain clean and safe drilling related plant, equipment and tools including rigs and vehicles.
• Assist with the processing of formation samples and cores including collection, laying out, packaging and dispatching.
• Assist with maintaining accurate and timely record keeping and reporting of faulty equipment, accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Undertake any other work as directed

• My Responsibilities;
• Receive instructions for drilling parameters (weight on bit, rotary table rpm, pressures and pump outputs) as well as other work procedures (type and expected life of bit, mud characteristics, bore control etc.), and ensure their correct application. Whenever deemed necessary, within the specified limits, change the drilling parameters to improve the drilling progress;
• Receive handover for the previous shift and verify the status of operations and equipment before beginning his shift;
• Check and set up the equipment necessary for the assigned shift, i.e. drill pipes and other material, etc.;
• Assist rig down/rig up operations by coordinating and controlling;
• Ensure that all reporting routines are followed and that all equipment related paperwork are carried out within his area of responsibility. Specifically he/she must:
• Fill up a daily drilling report for the activities performed during his/her shift describing the work carried out and the equipment utilized;
• Ensure that all orders and instructions received verbally or in writing are fully understood and adhered to;
• Be safety conscious in all his/her work and use compulsory protective equipment;
• Responsible for safe working conditions on the drill floor at all times;
• Ensure that his subordinates use compulsory protective equipment;
• Be familiar with all relevant work and safety procedures issued by Company and Operator;
• Apply and ensure the correct application of prescribed safety standards and regulations, and take part in emergency drills and safety meetings;
• Issue Safe Job Analysis before start-up of non-routine operation or job and ensure completion of risk assessments where required;
• Instruct all personnel assigned to him for assistance of their duties and responsibilities and of any special safety precaution to be taken prior to start-up of any work;
• Promptly report all accidents, near-miss accidents and nonconformance through the proper channels;
• Intervene promptly and opportunely in emergencies, at the same time notifying the superior in charge;
• Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained on the drill floor

• Assist with Drilling Operations as per the drilling program under the guidance of the drilling supervisor and Drillers.
• My Responsibilities;

• Assist with administrative tasks required for drilling operations including GPU Plods, calculations for grout mixes and work orders for consumables from stores.
• Ensure the bore hole development using poly reel compressor and airlifting truck is completed and documented.
• Operate ancillary equipment including setting up and dismantling.
• Maintain clean and safe drilling related plant, equipment and tools including rigs and vehicles.
• Assist with the processing of formation samples and cores including collection, laying out, packaging and dispatching.
• Assist with maintaining accurate and timely record keeping and reporting of faulty equipment, accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Undertake any other work as directed.
