• Operate live fire pistol ranges
  Teach Student Police In all aspects of Police weapons training.
• Conduct training and assessment of Student Police officers at Goulburn Police academy in all aspects of Weapons and tactics.
• Conduct Training and assessment of Serving Police officers in Active armed offender packages
• Run Pistol range as both range master or individual, in simulated, dry and live fire exercises
• Teach students and serving police in a classroom setting utilising Microsoft power point.
• Regularly inspect officer's appointments in line with NSW Police stand operating procedure.
• Create and implement tailored training packages

• Maintain and inspect a wide variety of Rescue equipment such as chainsaws, Airbags, spreaders, Shears, Dash rams, roping equipment
• Perform Duties as a NSW Police Rescue Operator, including vertical rescue (Twin line),

Confined space rescue and Road Crash Rescue

• Train and work in cooperation with SES, NSW Fire Brigade and Public Order Riot squad
• Utilise LUKAS Hydraulic Sheers, Spreaders and rams to extricate persons from MVA's (including body recovery)
• Inspect and maintain Police Rescue equipment, including LUKAS hydraulics, chainsaws, airbags, roping equipment, reciprocating saws, grinders, lighting rigs
• Qualified in Drager Breathing Apparatus and confined space safeguards (air testers)
• Qualified in vertical rescue utilising twin rope 11mm systems, ASAP fall arrest, MPD and lift baskets
• Perform duties in all inclement weather including
• Perform flood mitigation activities

• Protect life and property whilst upholding the NSW Police Code of Conducts and Ethics
• Treating all people fairly without malice or favour
• Communicate effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. At times in very hostile situations in order to achieve outcomes that are beneficial to community and stakeholders
• Perform the role of a General Duties Police officer & Shift supervisor
• Attending incidents such as Assault, Drug possession, Domestic violence, drink driving, Fraud and serious motor vehicle accidents
• Conduct complex and protracted investigations. Detect offences and ensure there is sufficient evidence to proceed to Court.
• Compile and catalogue evidence in both physical and digital formats
• Use evidence to produce comprehensive briefs of evidence which complies with Evidence Act 1995 and is satisfactory to be tendered in court
• Perform Duties as NSW Rescue Operator, including vertical rescue(Twin line), Confined space rescue and Road Crash Rescue (trained in LUKAS hydraulics)
• Cooperate and build relationships with government organisations including Council, Service NSW, Department of housing, Community corrections, Family and Child Services, Probation & Parole, NSW Ambulance, NSW fire brigade and SES

• Control access and egress of vehicle and pedestrians on the site
• Patrols of the facility on foot and via CCTV to ensure site security
• Conduct checks of all persons and vehicles exiting the site
• Ensuring that high risk security freight is correctly loaded, secured and accounted for
• Monitor Toll sites nationwide utilising a complex series of computer software and CCTV.
