The Simply Helping Code of Conduct (The Code) has been developed based on the required elements of the Aged Care Code of Conduct and the NDIS Code of Conduct., Forms the basis of how all employees of Simply Helping must behave and treat Consumers, Participants and Customers alike., Improve the safety, health, wellbeing, and quality of life of Consumers, Participants and Clients/Service Users., Promote ethical, honest, and respectful behaviour., Boost trust in services provided., Protect Consumers, Participants and Customers against workers who pose an unacceptable risk of harm or unacceptable solicitation., All employees, management and staff must act in a way that is respectful, kind and consistent with the elements and behaviours as set out in the Simply Helping Code of Conduct., The Simply Helping Code of Conduct is in alignment with both the ACQS and NDIS., Act with respect for people's rights to freedom of expression, self-determination and decision-making., Respect the privacy of people with disability., Act in a way that treats people with dignity, and respect and values their diversity., Provide care, support, and services in a safe and competent manner., Act with integrity, honesty, and transparency., Promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that may impact the quality and safety of care, support, and services., Provide care, supports and services free from all forms of violence, discrimination, exploitation, neglect, abuse, and sexual misconduct., Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to all forms of violence, exploitation, neglect, and abuse of people with disability., Attend work for the times agreed, notify delegate officer of their absences., Comply with the requirements of their duty statements and agreed work plans., Provide accurate and honest information to delegated officer about work completed., Follow instructions that are reasonable and lawful., Report any suspected corrupt or fraudulent practices of others., Observe the requirements for conditions of employment and safety., Perform their duties unaffected by alcohol or the use of drugs., Maintain a harmonious, co-operative, and productive workplace., Ensure they do not use their position to exert inappropriate influence over others., Not canvass or solicit any person who is or has been a Consumer, Participant, or supplier of Simply Helping., Not provide support services directly or indirectly to any person who has been a Consumer, Participant, or supplier of Simply Helping., Not induce, solicit or entice any employee or contractor from Simply Helping.
