These include novel discoveries, such as the development of new vaccines and diagnostic tests, and the better use of existing best-practice health interventions
Oversee financial and administrative compliance of all procedures and internal controls
Financial Support to Medical Health Projects in PNG and Australia by ensuring availability of Timely and accurate information are provided to the Project Managers, Team Leaders, Project Accountant and PNG Executives
Currently supporting over 25 projects in Papua New Guinea doing research and health implementation work and in collaboration with Provincial Health Authorities
Assist and review PNG payroll functions
Maintain and Update Fixed Asset Register based on various projects
Preparation of Monthly Financial Reports
Reconciliation of Bank accounts and other General Ledger accounts
Provide vehicle and Logistics support to the Project teams on site
Manage In Country Operating Bank Accounts
Prepare and facilitate in country audits, and implement audit recommendations
Provide oversight and management of all Statutory Compliance Matters to ensure Burnet PNG Legally compliant and remittances/reporting requirements made are timely and accurate
Lead and review financial processes and make recommendations for modifications and
Administer and Oversee data entry into the accounting system(Quick Book) using data integrity
Support and mentor other finance & administration staff
