Operation POLICE ASSIST supported broader NSW Government efforts in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Office of The Sheriff's contribution ensured that NSW Police and NSW Health were able to effectively operate the COVID-19 Hotel Quarantine Program across the Greater Sydney Area. This vital assistance allowed NSW Police resources to also be allocated to other front line duties in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Awarded in recognition of valuable contribution during the COVID-19 Pandemic Response.
