I have worked at BUPA for the last 7.5 years starting as a PCA and worked my way up to being an EN. I am now also the AN-ACC assessor 2 days a week. I pride myself on building rapport with not only residents but families as well. I receive all the new admissions and complete all of the relevant documentation to formulate careplans for each inidividual resident. I specialise in working with dementia and part of my role is implementing strategies for behaviours catered to each individual resident and their own personal needs and life story.
I thrive in high paced environments and am able to work extremely well under pressure as well as in emergencies. I am able to take charge and direct, whilst also managing to keep everyone calm and problem solving quickly.
I have an excellent bedside manner, and am able to communicate clearly and concise both in person and over the phone. I have a good attitude, as well as being respectful and mindful of those around me. I am bright and bubbly and enjoy my work. I am empathetic and really really love working in aged care.
