Community Service Work involving testing all portable solar lights prior to being shipped overseas to Third World Countries. Ensuring all lights were put together correctly and in working order by dismantling, repairing and packaging the lights as required.
Involved taking orders, delivering food, making drinks and retrieving items for guests. I established a welcoming atmosphere by greeting each guest warmly before taking orders, disinfected frequently touched surfaces between customers and assisted the kitchen staff by cleaning, packing sandwiches and following requests when required.
Offered age-appropriate, fun and educational activities for children ranging in age from 9 months to 8 years. Played games, worked on puzzles and read books to young children and organised and cleaned home after activities by picking up toys and straightening up play room.
