Prioritise and deliver a high standard of nursing care to patients in remote mining environments, with a strong focus on their needs and the needs of their families, while working with the unique challenges of isolated worksite settings., Extensive knowledge and experience in occupational health, emergency care, and primary healthcare delivery across mining operations, including management of workplace injuries, chronic disease, and health surveillance programs., High level of knowledge of mining industry legislation, workplace health and safety regulations, nursing practice standards, and procedures relative to remote area practice, with a commitment to implementing and supporting evidence-based care in resource-limited settings., Ongoing commitment to promoting a culture of problem solving, best practice, continuous improvement and research in a clinical setting., Ability to work independently or in team environment to implement best practice outcomes to all clients., Well-developed information technology (IT) skills, including the capacity to effectively use IT to deliver education programs.
