Summary

Dynamic educator with a proven track record at St John Ambulance Victoria, skilled at delivering engaging first-aid training to diverse groups of primary school students. Experienced in classroom management and fostering strong student rapport quickly as the sessions were only one hour. I excel in customizing curricula to meet unique needs of different cohorts of students, ensuring impactful learning experiences for all participants, including the accompanying teachers.

Compassionate Day carer offering over ten years of experience coordinating activities to promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth in children. Well-versed in positive reinforcement and behavior redirection.

During my time in family day care I was fortunate to care for some children with additional needs that did not fit into other carers routines. Due to this I have cared for several children with cerebral palsy and two who were peg fed. I found no issues with modifying our daily routines to see these children have as many opportunities as any other child in my care.

In 2016, while studying Nursing I thoroughly enjoyed the challenges and learning opportunities of placements, mainly in aged care with one placement at Ararat Hospital. I completed this course in June 2017, second top in the class. I was employed by the Red Cross, Life Blood for a short period before I became too unwell to work, hence the long hiatus from nursing. I feel the now is the right time to get back to the career I tried to start almost eight years ago.
