Junshi Zhao

I am a third-year student in UNSW studying Aerospace Engineering and a team member of UNSW Rocketry. I excel in team collaboration and relationship building, helping achieve team goals efficiently and competently. I helped design and build project Archangel, a UNSW Rocketry high-powered rocket which achieved a 3rd place in the Spaceport America Cup. I also worked closely with the Business sub team lead to create Archangel's mission patch, as well as renew UNSW Rocketry's profile and design aesthetics.

In addition to my studies, I gained work experience as a secondary school tutor and helped enhance students' understanding of math, physics and chemistry through individualized lesson plans and supportive teaching strategies, tailoring my teaching based on the needs of the students and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, building rapport with the students and helping them learn more effectively. Balancing both work, university coursework and co-curricular activities with UNSW Rocketry has helped me develop great organisational and time management skills.
