The Victorian Government public funded fertility care service and in collaboration with The Women's Hospital, I'm working at a satellite service in Bendigo Health.

My achievements are clinical operation development, including establishment of processes and pathways for staff, triage of client referrals, coordination of fertility work up and nursing health assessments, conducting clinical review of complex clients with additional needs, medication education and service promotion within the community with public speaking a strength of mine.

My career has provided me with the knowledge and experience to facilitate the training, educating and onboarding of midwives including new graduates and students.

I have an enhanced level of understanding for the student midwife curriculum and competency requirements in clinical practice. My passion for sharing the knowledge and experience to empower and inspire students to become a holistic practicing midwife they can be for childbearing families.

Worked in a holistic model of care for low risk pregnancy clients, this role enhanced my clinical practice to work in all clinical areas and enhance my ability to provide care across the continuum of childbirth. Teamwork with a midwife partner and small team of 4 midwives, enforced my experience and ability to communicate effectively and with a standardised approach to ensure the clinical information shared with others was appropriate and concise.

Time management was my strength as I could manage my client caseload and include additional caseload when required.

My achievement was the recognition of value and worth as a Midwife to the team and client caseload; facilitating my career goal to transition to work in the birth suite and ward.
