Job overview

When our Assistant Director goes on leave or is sick I step up into their role, covering tasks such as rostering, processing pays, nominated supervisor, dealing with staff and staffing. As an integrated centre with both long day care and a DECD Kindergarten on site, we have a DECD Director (1st in charge) an Assistant Director (2nd in charge) Who essentially fills out the roll of Childcare Director, managing the Long Day Care with the governing Council.

I have been in the 3IC roll since 2016 alongside my team leader role.

  • Oversaw employee attendance record, handled payroll, and managed rostering.
