Im a 17 year old, that has been working since i was 7 at my grandmas shop, Foodworks (A general store in urunga). At Foodworks i learnt many of the basics of customer service and work ethic. Since then i've had other jobs and also learnt problem solving skills and great teamwork management.
My hospitality background has been involved in my life since the day i could talk. My father has owned a kitchen and was head chef, thus he's always taught me correct ways of working in the kitchen and preparation of food.
I have come from Coffs Harbour, and last year i was enrolled at a boarding school in Brisbane called St Josephs Nudgee College. My family moved to Grafton while i was in boarding school, and when i came back i fell in love with the people of Grafton. So i decided to stay and go to school here.
When i moved to McCauley Catholic College i didn't have much of an idea on what i wanted to do. But when i started to do hospitality as a subject i fell in love. I've gained experience from the whole VET course and i have gained certification for the work i've completed. Earlier in the year my class and i attended a hospitality school, run by Seaworld. I learnt many aspects of cooking and being a helping hand. This was also when i got many compliments on my attitude and my work capability's from employees and the people staying at the hotel.
Overall I am a dependable with keen interest in the hospitality sector. I've got advanced knowledge of food safety and sanitation, coupled with the ability to efficiently handle kitchen tasks. I am for the best in everything I do. I work to create smooth kitchen operations and ensure a high standard of service. I offer a positive attitude and I will work with full competency.
