- Preparation of post-operation unit and receiving surgical patients.
- Invasive monitoring, vital signs monitoring, and recording.
- Preparation for common procedures, collection of specimens, administration of IV fluids, total parenteral nutrition, and oxygen therapy.
- Evaluating and modifying the plan of care based on observable responses from patients, attainment of patients, and the attainment of patient goals.

- Interpreting the data from the Cardiac Monitor, providing emergency care, and life-supportive measures.

- Assuring open and timely communication with the clients, their significant other, and team members to ensure the occurrence of effective therapeutic communication based on a holistic approach.
- Providing psychological support to minimize patients' anxiety, care of patients with pre- and post-operative periods.
- Management of Surgical, Medical, and Paediatric Emergency.
- Providing care based on a body of knowledge, respecting human worthiness, individually, and equality, irrespective of ethnic color and race.
- To act as a good via media between doctor and patient, check the general condition of the patient, blood investigation results, etc.
Cases handled: All general, medical, and surgical cases, including maternity and pediatric cases.
Procedures performed: Sponge bath, bed making, vital signs, monitoring intake/output, administering medication/injections, IV-line insertion, insertion of NG tube, preparing patients for surgery, care of post-operative patient, oral and endotracheal suction, manual ventilation, arterial blood gases, tracheostomy care, end-of-life care, recording, and reporting.
