Research Experience

  • Saving the Bandicoot Project - Working with Zoo Victoria. The purpose of this project was to design and manufactured a collar suitable to track the endangered Eastern Barred Bandicoots. In this project, I was able to communicate and worked well with my teammates in creating a suitable collar by completing the unit with high distinction.
  • Creating a well informed and organised blog about COVID-19 - The purpose of this project was to discussed about the effects of COVID-19 on student learning on both domestic and international students, including a podcast about me and my teammates opinions on this matter. Overall, I was able to converse and cooperate smoothly with my teammates, ensuring we are all on track with the project. Therefore, finishing the project with a high distinction.
  • Current project: Synthesizing improved graphene oxide using sonochemical methods on developing as a gas sensor. The project revolves on creating a superior version of graphene oxide and exploring its potential as a gas sensor. The project involves wet chemical synthesis, characterization, and a thesis report. The lab techniques used are FTIR, XRD, particle sizing, Raman Spectroscopy, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, and XPS.
