- This job was building tailings dams for a alumina refinery. At this job I looked after a large fleet of Caterpillar scrapers, John Deer graders, small Cat dozers, Cat/Komatsu excavators, Cat loaders, Isuzu Tippers, Cat/Volvo articulated dump trucks, bobcats, and a range of john deer agricultural equipment.
- Extensive knowledge on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repairs on heavy equipment systems including; engines, transmissions/drive lines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, steering and braking systems, electrical systems.
- Work always completed to a high safety standard.
- Knowledge and use of Caterpillar computer program SIS and ET, and other programs such as Prosis.

- First 12 months of employment spent sub-contracting to Hampton Mining doing field service throughout the goldfields region of WA. Hampton had a vast amount of equipment to be repaired and maintained, such as; caterpillar dump trucks, graders, dozers, loaders, as well as; hitachi and komatsu excavators, sandvik surface drill rigs, vovlo articulated watercarts, kenworth road trains and also a range of light vehicles.
- I then went on to working/living in the Pilbara and Kimberley region where I was contracted to a range of different mine sites and civil jobs repairing and maintaining different types of equipment. This gave me experience on much more machinery for example larger mining equipment at Mineral Resources, roadworks equipment for Raubex and Roadmac and rehabilitation equipment for Cardinals Contracting.
