Kaitlyn Neeley

• Accountable for leading the front of house which consisted of a team of six or more servers, bartenders and baristas.
• Responsible for training any and all new hires.
• Consistently met and exceeded performance goals related to sales targets, customer satisfaction ratings, and order accuracy.
• Daily tasks included opening (6:00am) and closing (3:00pm) each shift, delegating specific work to the team, maintaining the overall cleanliness and functions of the restaurant, and front of house inventory.
• Coordinating events such as fundraisers and holiday parties.
• Communicating and working with local food vendors.
• Creating new and innovative ideas to better the overall flow of the restaurant.
• Providing a warm and welcoming environment in this quaint, family-owned, local restaurant. Making sure every customer is not only satisfied with their meal, but having a wonderful experience as well.

Barista:

• Responsible for opening the café during morning shifts and closing the café during closing shifts.
• Working with homemade, healthy, local and organic foods/elixirs.
• Prepping fruits, pastries, juices, prepping homemade nut milks, and restocking inventory when needed.
• Learned how to make drinks such as espresso drinks, matcha drinks, tonics, and elixirs which included fun powders and homemade nut milks.
• Counting the register and cleaning café.

Yoga instructor:

• Creating classes that consisted of slow and deep stretching in a heated room for sixty minutes, as well as mediation and sound healing at the end.
• When needed, I substituted for teachers who could not make it to their class.
• Cleaning the room, mats and any other prop used.

• Caring for children, ages 8-12, on a daily, week-day basis (over the course of three years).
• Dropping off kids to school in the morning, and picking up from school in the afternoon.
• Helping out with after school work.
• Prepping meals such as lunches, dinners and snacks.
• Assisted with light housekeeping duties as well as running errands.
• Providing a safe, fun and educational environment.
• Creating activities that allow the kids to explore and learn new skills.
• Adaptability with schedules, and clear communication between parents was a key component, as changes occurred often.
