• Respond to inbound customer contact and conduct outbound customer contact;
• Enter requests for quotes into CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and generate quotes
tailored to the customer’s need in timely manner (provide information regarding terms of sales and delivery
dates);
• Source products utilising tools such as the internet and industry trading websites etc;
• Provide a high level of customer service and continually work on account development through the
development of strong customer relationships and identification of specific needs;
• Complete secondary checking of shipments (after warehouse staff) prior to releasing to client;
• Process customer orders and create associated supplier purchase orders (as required);
• Resolve difficult issues, complaints, and fault reports;
• Deal with overseas suppliers and make the relevant arrangements for import;
• Liaise with local and overseas suppliers to obtain information about their products and services (Quotes,
Linecard, Inventory Lists and Price Lists...);
• Upload data into the sales software such as vendor inventory list, quotes etc accurately and in a timely
manner;
• Provide support as required with purchasing, expediting and bookkeeping tasks;
