Roles And Responsibilities

• Supporting clients 2/1 staff ratio
• Encouraging clients to develop Life skills and assisting them in their personal care.
• Supporting Clients with challenging behavior by using de-escalation
techniques
• Supporting young people and adults with intellectual disabilities and
ASD to develop skills to regulate emotions and interact positively
with peers in a group e.g. sporting club
• Supporting Children and Youth to develop skills to regulate emotions
and interact positively with peers in a group e.g. sporting club
• Following and implementing the support plan to deliver
individualized skills development programs.
• Completing the required documentation as per the instructions..
Assisting client in developing social communication skills to engage
in a meaningful conversation with other children and with public
• Maintaining regular contact with placement coordinator to support
client for connecting them with appropriate services
• Maintaining Work Health Safety Protocol.
