My time at M James Engineering i have been fortunate to have worked on a vast number of the rail crossing projects around Melbourne which has allowed me to learn extensive building & engineering knowledge, knowledge to follow OH&S procedures for these tier 1 projects.

I am known as an all rounder, from specializing in rigging, operating machinery and also carpentry and concreting, welding.

• Consistently assumed additional responsibilities and worked extended hours to meet project deadlines.
• Prepared and erected steel, torque and bolt-up connections.
• Determined correct rigging requirements for equipment based on job specifications and environmental conditions.
• Recognized and reported potential project challenges and assisted with solutions.

At I&D Constructions i worked on a vast number of high rise projects where we specialized in concrete structured projects from the ground up.

I was responsible for leading a team to ensure efficient running of site projects and collaborating with subcontractors to ensure operations ran on time and within safety parameters.

Here i gained extensive knowledge for concrete and precast installation which gave me the opportunity to work with tower cranes and pursue my career in rigging as it has always been a passion of mine.

• Positioned cranes in response to hand signals and observed load hookup to determine safe load capacities.
• Consistently assumed additional responsibilities and worked extended hours to meet project deadlines.
• Rigged for heavy lifts according to blueprint requirements.
• Installing shutters to prepare for concrete pours.
• Trained new laborers in crew processes and safety behaviors.
• Reviewed all project documentation and blueprints to prioritize and schedule job tasks.
• Operated equipment such as forklifts safely to efficiently complete site work.

My time with CPB i played an integral part in the construction of the Tullamarine freeway lane widening and bridge projects.

I was able to utilize and gain extensive skill working alongside mobile cranes, rigging and the preparation of bridge beam installation.

• Participated in program and construction planning and kept leaders abreast of progress, problems and building project needs.
• Assisted supervisor with various daily tasks which improved productivity and resulted in better efficiency.
• Collected measurements and marked locations as part of project preparations.
• Used radios and hand signals to coordinate communication between equipment operators and ground workers.
