I am seeking a new career path in the work force as I approach my twenties. I’m a go getter and I like to keep busy. My aim is to gain experience in a new career to benefit myself and my employer. I am looking for a new pathway as I am not finding the fulfillment of continuing and finishing my apprenticeship as an aborist. I very much enjoy what I do but after a series of events with bad management throughout the past months I have lost the passion to finish it due to these issues. Incorrect pay rates from casual to full time haven't been addressed months after signing up for the apprenticeship along with continuous reminders of it to be sorted, and still no action taken. Repetitive tasks have become monotonous as I wish to be exposed to new skills and work my way up the ladder. I have happily taken on more responsibilities such as running a crew, but with no reward for the extra efforts it is quite disappointing.
I need to try something new and wish to be successful at achieving an end goal. I am hardworking and pride myself on the fact that I am a quick learner and I am open to new challenges. I'm committed to workplace health and safety along with safe operating techniques with machinery, equipment and tools. I am an organized person with great time management skills and able to prioritise tasks. I have a positive attitude with a willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals. I am eager to secure an entry level position in my new career pathway.
