• Perform a key strategic management and leadership role within the Generation and Energy Transition Leadership Team

• Accountable for business emergency resilience capability, ensuring the business can respond and adapt quickly to disruptions and significant unplanned events thus minimising impact to people, operations, assets and Origin’s reputation
• Set strategic direction for Business Risk Management and Reporting in line with 3 levels of assurance requirements
• Foster effective Internal / External Audit Management, action tracking & support for the business
• Ensure effective management of Connection Agreements for existing assets, including counterparty relationships and negotiations (commercial and technical)
• Responsible for the development and assurance over Business Systems & Processes (e.g. Permit To Work)

• Lead delivery of second line risk and assurance activities across Origin Energy Markets
• Influence, support and engage with senior stakeholders to drive and maintain alignment and integration of risk practices for operational and strategic risks
• Develop and present risk and assurance reports for Origin Board Risk and Safety and Sustainability Committees

• Lead a diverse muti-skilled team to plan, prioritise develop and implement process safety management programs across gas asset portfolio and ensure alignment across Origin
• Ensure compliance of applicable Origin’s HSEMS (Risk and Systems Controls Directives) and regulatory obligations whilst embedding and sustaining process safety culture
• Support the implementation of business Asset Management System, underpinned by Projects, Integrity, Maintenance Execution, and Asset Information Management through the integration of process safety management to ensure gas assets operate safely, reliably and meet compliance obligations

• Led development and implementation of an automated dashboard enabling real time performance monitoring of safety critical controls and material risks across LPG. This included designing, developing, and implementing process safety systems and workflows, with integration to existing business processes in technical risk management, safety critical systems, maintenance and operations management, staff competency, emergency preparedness, governance and assurance

• Lead submissions of MHF Safety Cases, including coordinating a program to review and revise the safety assessments across 12 MHFs, planning and allocation of internal and external resources, delivery of MHF training and obligations requirements
• Ensure capital projects, management of change risk assessments and project assurance adequately address safety by design and process safety hazards
• Engage with regulators and emergency authorities during compliance audits, safety case verifications and improvements to emergency response and security plans

Facilitate safety case workshops, develop design and operational safety cases and conduct quantitative risk assessments and fire and explosion analysis for various utilities, mining, manufacturing oil and gas companies

• Provided technical support for product (Colorbond) improvement projects.
• Designed safeguards for machinery exposures on steel processing lines.
