At Hualalai I was a in charge of the beach activities area, ensuring the safety & well being of guests (Often including rescues). This required CPR & First-aid training. Along with these duties was customer service, which was at a high standard at the #1 four-seasons hotel in the world. Another important skill gained from that was teamwork, having a very tightly knit crew. Tasks often required more than one person, such as pushing canoes and carrying heavy equipment. This helped me develop effective communication and problem recognition skills.

• At Tavarua, I did a month long shift as a boatman. My duties included guiding & lifeguarding surf trips. I was responsible for the health and safety of the guests 24 hours a day. My crew consisted of 3-5 boatmen. We were responsible for allocating shifts and organizing trips. I developed organization skills, time management, and health and safety awareness.
