Maintenance on rock mining machines. Ensuring machines are safe to operate, and repairs are conducted in a safe manner. This is a physically demanding job, that requires heavy lifting and a lot of manual labour. Health and safety guidelines are kept at a high standard, as some work activities are high risk. Diligence, teamwork, and awareness are key factors at the quarry.

Applying clipper techniques and scissor work learnt in barber school and self teachings, to complete haircuts asked of by my clients. Attention to detail was a key factor, that helped my progress with becoming a better barber. Creating rapport with clients helped the return of customers along with bettering my skills as a barber.

Assisting bar staff with inventory, organising stock, and ensuring the efficiency of the bar. Working under pressure was a key skill for this being one of the busiest bars in Auckland. The use of good communication and teamwork was also important.

This job primarily consisted of unloading containers from overseas shipments. Heavy lifting with package organising, was my main role for the duration of the shift/job.

Skills needed in this job was diligence and effective teamwork.
