Embarking on a distinguished 24-year career in oncology nursing, my journey began at the Christie Hospital in Manchester, UK, in 1996, where I specialized in bone marrow transplants. In 2003, I brought my expertise to Perth, taking on a pivotal role as a clinical nurse at RPH in the oncology and bone marrow transplant ward. There, I delivered specialized care to acutely unwell patient, homing my skills in managing complex cases with precision and empathy. My experience extends beyond the hospital setting; I have contributed significantly to hematological and apheresis day units, and have been instrumental in community healthcare, administering chemotherapy, targeted treatments, and immunotherapies. My dedication to patient education and support is evident through my role as a support services coordinator, where I organized and facilitated educational seminars for individuals living with hematological diseases. Currently, as a specialist breast care nurse, I provide personalized care and support to both women and men navigating the challenges of a breast cancer diagnosis. My commitment to patient empowerment is unwavering, and I am passionate about delivering the highest standard of care. Complemented by my experience in community. My dedicate to oncology nursing is matched only by my readiness to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patient.
