Summary

With more than 30 years' experience in State and Federal Government in the Disability Sector, in a variety of positions, I have a passion for working with members of the community who are living with a disability or are otherwise vulnerable. I take great pride in my understanding of detailed legislation, procedures and protocols and use that knowledge to guide myself and others to make high quality decision making to assist participants and link them to external stakeholders for extra support. I have high-level communication skills, including the ability lead a team, write and present training packages, as well as the personal skills required to understand and respond to the needs of participants with empathy and professionalism so they gain access to the support they need to improve their life circumstances.

I am a conscientious professional with extensive experience advocating for social and economic well-being of individuals and families. I am skilled at working in and leading multidisciplinary teams, providing guidance, support and assistance. I have strong verbal and written communication skills and am committed to providing appropriate supports to people with a disability and their families.
