• Rotational level physiotherapist split rotation two 8 week blocks
• Block one: Acute surgical inpatients mainly on short stay unit and orthopedic inpatients trauma and elective. Busy caseload prioritising early discharges and ensuring cross cover across all surgical team service
• Block two: (0.5) Specialist palliative care unit and (0.5) community rehab team outpatients service.
• MDT focused care ensuring palliative patients can return home preparing for all stages of deterioration.
• Adult and older person community rehab patients referred from hospital / GP service mostly post stroke / recurrent falls/ FND

• Managed over 160 residents at Emmy Monash RAC, including post-fall assessments, mobility reviews, and private rehab clients with a team of 3 physiotherapists.
• Delivered group exercise classes daily and developed and implemented a restorative rehab program for frequent fallers and post-hospital patients.
• Provided part-time community physiotherapy services for patients with various musculoskeletal and neurological disorders rehabilitating in the home.

• Sole physiotherapist working autonomously with OT as requested.
• Responsible for initial assessments, falls and mobility reviews, and 3 / 6 monthly care plan updates.
• Implemented rehabilitation and restorative programs for elderly residents, focusing on mobility and functional independence

Trauma Orthopaedics (Oct 2022 – Mar 2023)

• Worked as part of a busy acute inpatient rehabilitation team at the Irish national centre for pelvic and acetabular fracture surgery.
• Managed a diverse caseload of trauma orthopaedic patients, including hip, pelvic, acetabular, femur, lower limb fractures, as well as upper limb and spinal surgeries.
• Provided weekend orthopaedic service covering both trauma and elective wards.
• Project: Designed an algorithm for weekend staff to improve adherence to the Irish Hip Fracture Standard (7: Day 1 post-operative mobilisation)

Medical Respiratory (Mar 2023 – Jul 2023)

• Worked independently on the COVID-19 and infectious disease ward, managing a fluctuating caseload of acute respiratory patients and general medical inpatients requiring rehabilitation.
• Organised and prioritised clinical tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, often delegating to physiotherapy assistants.
• Delivered cardiac rehabilitation classes twice weekly and completed ICU/On-call training with ICU physiotherapy clinical specialists.
• Project: Conducted a notes audit focusing on documentation practices and the implementation of outcome measures in patient care.

Sub-acute Rehab Unit (Jul 2023 – Dec 2023)

• Provided geriatric inpatient rehabilitation treating a mixed cohort of orthogeriatric, neurology, and frail/falls patients.
• Collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams (MDT) to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
• Regularly contributed to family care planning meetings and consulted with medical consultants during weekly MDT meetings.
• Project: Developed and implemented a progressive resistance training exercise class, targeting appropriate inpatient rehab candidates to improve mobility and strength.

• Assisted with injury assessments, treatments, and rehabilitation of players in a professional intercounty setting.
• Delivered pitch-side care and worked closely with the strength and conditioning team.

• Exposure to level 2 hospital during peak of Covid-19 pandemic.
• Assisted senior physiotherapists with the rehabilitation of medical and stroke patients
• Managed a caseload of maintenance patients and supported administrative tasks.
