Summary

I am a passionate and dedicated educator with 10 years of classroom and leadership experience. I have a strong background in designing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum across diverse subjects and learner needs. I am skilled in motivating students through positive reinforcement and in building collaborative relationships with students, staff, and families.

This year, I have expanded my leadership capabilities through assistant principal duties, overseeing all aspects of inclusion across the school. This has included managing ACP processes; coordinating and developing IEPs in collaboration with teachers and families; and working closely with allied health organisations, child safety, and external support agencies. I have ensured teachers are equipped with the necessary resources, strategies, and support to meet the needs of their learners. I have also coordinated schedules and referrals for the OT, Guidance Counsellor, and Speech Therapist, facilitated inclusive meetings, and maintained regular communication with all stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective support.

These responsibilities have strengthened my instructional leadership, deepened my understanding of inclusive education, and enhanced my ability to build teacher capacity and implement whole-school programs that support high-quality teaching and learning.

I am confident in using technology to enhance the learning process and committed to promoting lifelong learning by equipping students with essential literacy, numeracy, social, and emotional skills. I am known for my inclusive teaching approach and my dedication to creating supportive, engaging, and high-achieving learning environments.
