Together we ran bi-weekly meetings, discussed community needs, decided on outcomes and initiated those decisions with the aid of the local council, police and community., My role was to organize and chair the meetings, keep them to a time limit, motivate the volunteers, organise a communication tree, reach all homes in our catchment area effectively and deliver outcomes of crime prevention to senior Sargent Mark Anderson., Together we engaged over 300 households to participate in neighbourhood security., The crime was reduced to less than 10% within eight months. Community isolation was reduced. Great neighbourly relationships were formed and maintained to this day.
