Summary

From a young age I new I always wanted to be a Nurse. I now have worked as a Registered Nurse for 21 years and could not picture myself doing any other job. I treat my job as a privilege to be involved with patients when they are often at there most vulnerable. I pride myself in being compassionate, respectful and caring. I am an organised and dependable person who works hard. I work well with diverse patient populations and foster trusting relationships to improve outcomes. I work efficiently within our busy emergency department, coordinating cares with our healthcare team. I practice safely and within my scope of practice, seeking help if needed. I look for education opportunities be it Qhealth provided or self directed. I am always looking to improve, develop or refresh my skills.
