Kate Marra

In 2021 I started my first job working on a dairy farm milking and feeding calves as my confidence grew I expanded my knowledge to droving, herd health, fencing, general farm maintenance, chemicals for weeds, taking numbers, stock count, painting and being able to work in an environment with a large group of people or independently to be able to complete tasks I was required to do unsupervised or with co-workers. At the end of 2023 I moved from my place of work to a new farm with the same employer at Invermay Farms. I enjoyed working and caring for animals and the atmospere I work in. In my future my goal is to be working in marine science with a certificate in that feild, whilst currently studying this course Id like to branch out try something new and work within the public. I believe I have a strong work ethic, able to finish the tasks Im asked to complete, working with others and challenging myself to new and harder tasks.

Enjoy playing soccer on the weekends for a club that I've been quite engaged with and have been passionate about for a few years. I like hanging out with my friends and family and going to the beach. I enjoy exploring new locations and experiencing new things.
