Summary

As a NSW Health Dental Therapist i was to provide diagnostic and comprehensive dental treatment within my scope of practice. Empower my patients and the broader community about Oral health with knowledge of up to date Oral health promotion.

My role involves working alongside a broad range of clinicians with various specialities within the dental setting at Coffs Harbour Dental clinic.


I have demonstrated various presentations for other NSW Health facilities and have developed and presented to Medicare Local, preparing instructional booklets for other operators on the use of our intra oral camera and associated software, liaise with other health providers/stakeholders.


With more than 1 2 years of clinical experience as an Oral Health Therapist (OH T), I have demonstrated my competence to work as an independent operator, contribute to the success of the whole oral health team and even taken leadership role on many occasions including our outreach clinics both Nambucca and Galambila and NSW Dental Van programs.


It is essential that I have strong multitasking and communicative skills, for working in our busy dental clinics. I enjoy working in a team environment and am also able to perform dental treatment plans and procedures unsupervised.

  • Assisting Principle Orthodontist with wire changes, O-ring and chain change overs, issuing and removing RPE's and lower hyrax, separator placement, issuing trutain retainers, presenting patients and their current treatment plans to Orthodontist.
