  • Assigning patients and manage the operating schedules.
  • Providing direction and mentoring to the Patient Flow and DOSA team and resolving day to day operational issues with staff. Reviewing work practices and processes. Planning leave cover and casual staff requirements.
  • Identifying patients who will breach contractual KPI’s for Elective Surgery and implement strategies to ensure these are managed.
  • Provide, report and advise the Executive team on matters relating to the public contract, including strategies and ensuring processes are in place to manage contractual obligations.

  • I was fortunate to be able to take 3 months leave from my role in the hospital and part take in the Commonwealth Games as a VCC supervisor. The Venue Communication Centre (VCC) is an operated space that is located within the Event Control Room on the venue. The job purpose was to be responsible for monitoring venue radio communications. As the VCC Supervisor I was responsible for coordinating all aspects of VCC operations at Games Time to ensure effective and efficient radio communications. I worked with a team to ensure communication between key client groups on different radio talk groups (channels) was monitored and key information shared between groups. The venue I was posted to, held 38,000 spectators at capacity.

  • Gen-i is a part of The Telecom Group which is New Zealand's largest telecommunications and IT services provider. Gen-i provides ICT solutions and services for the New Zealand market. As Project Coordinator, I assisted in coordination on multiple projects across the group.
  • Relocating 1000 staff members.
  • Upgrading of 500 laptops nationwide.
  • Decommissioning and removal of servers nationwide.

  • Co-ordinating internal staff allocation to meet project requirements.
  • Liaising with resource providers in order to negotiate and secure necessary resources to fulfil services demand.

  • Escalating resource allocation, budget and time problems to the Programme Director.
