I currently work as a Project Lead, after being promoted from a Digital Marketing Specialist at LRI Media Group. I lead the team in running three separate websites: SportsTips.com, TheParlayKings.com and TheRacingSharks.com.au.


Some of the main tasks I tackle in my current position include:

  • Work with business leaders and contribute to the development of the Company’s digital growth strategy.
  • Provide key input on requirements and solutions to support the execution of business strategies.
  • Facilitate the hiring, training and management of marketing and advertising staff.
  • Build trust among team members by setting an example in terms of professionalism and commitment to Company values.
  • Create and maintain a team culture that values, recognises and rewards high performance.
  • Keyword research and competitor analysis for new websites in a range of markets, geographies and industries.
  • Manage freelancers and/or casual staff in the design, development and maintenance of websites.
  • Manage content production to ensure that SEO strategy targets are being fulfilled.

Digital Market Manager - Search

During my time working at my previous employment, Racenet was purchased by News Corp. Racenet was merged with a sister company, Punters, and during that merge I was offered a promotion from my previous role (SEO Executive). Both brands now sit under one umbrella company, News Perform. My role changed to Digital Marketing Manager - Search with responsibilities paving the way for SEO for multiple websites.


My tasks and responsibilities include similar to that of my previous role with Racenet, but also include additional aspects:

  • Assistance in the development of SEO plans and strategies for the next quarter or financial year.
  • Development of KPIs in relation to SEO for the next financial year.
  • Management of SEO content team.
  • Workshop with other stakeholders in the business to boost their own SEO knowledge.
  • Develop solutions to any issues presented, led the way in rethinking of our sessions funnel model.
  • Liaising and building relationships with those working at News Corp.

SEO Executive

I previously worked as an SEO executive for one of the most popular online horse racing destinations in Australia, Racenet. Racenet has a very fast paced work force and we are required to exceed high targets while also turning over projects quickly.


My tasks and responsibilities included:

  • Working along side the marketing team to achieve high targets set by management team.
  • SEO (keyword research, on-page optimisation, link building, technical).
  • Conduct SEO review of previous performance and put together plan for future SEO efforts.
  • Analysis of current SEO position using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush and Moz.
  • Creating and reviewing content to be posted on the Racenet website, as well as content for backlinking purposes.
  • Producing weekly and monthly reporting for marketing and wider team.
  • Proficient at all Microsoft programs including Microsoft Office.
  • Create and send eDM to user database, using web development tool, Dream Weaver and email marketing tool, AWeber.
  • Use CMS tool, Sitecore, to create and edit pages.
  • Build relationships with affiliate partners including; Sportsbet, BetEasy (before the bookmaker merged with Sportsbet) and Neds.
  • Research (ensuring I am always up to date with the latest advancements in SEO, Google, AdWords, social media, as well as researching the competition).

My tasks and responsibilities included:

  • Management of team and office (ensuring all the necessary work is completed and the office is fully functional).
  • SEO (keyword research, on-page optimisation, link building, image optimisation).
  • Developing and implementing proper SEO strategies for clients with the ability to change and adapt as best practice evolves.
  • Management of social media accounts (proficient at Hootsuite and OnlyPult, developing and implementing proper social media strategies for clients).
  • Account management (liaising with clients and ensuring their needs are always met).
