Caseload: Individual weekly and intensive therapy. Disability focused, complex medical histories, severe physical impairments and rare disorders.
Example Diagnoses: Cerebral palsy, acute necrotising
encephalopathy (ANE), various syndromes [e.g., Pitt
Hopkins, Prader Willis (PWS), Angelman, Down
syndrome, CHOPS, Cri Du Chat, Börjeson-Forssman-
Lehman, Mowat Wilson], various rare disorders/
diseases [e.g., STXBP1, Pontocerebellar hypoplasia Type
6], Lissencephaly, DNM1 genetic mutation, epilepsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), global developmental delay (GDD) and Cortical Vision Impairment (CVI)/ other vision difficulties.
Responsibilities:
  - Supervision and management duties in addition to clinical caseload. Physiotherapy Team Manager: June 2021-July 2022.
- Accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible multidisciplinary fashion.
- Interviewing and training of new staff.
- One-on-one staff supervision during fortnightly meetings and in session.
- Organization of staff trainings.
- Supporting admin with appropriate changes to the schedule.
- Individually tailored assessment and therapy via
 weekly or intensive therapy (1 or 3- week blocks).
- Use of standardized assessments to take baseline and track progress. (AIMS, GMFM, DAY-C).
- Provide therapeutic intervention with the use of Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) techniques.
- Utilize modalities to support the progress of the patient, including, but not limited to task-specific electrical stimulation, taping, spider cage, neurosuit, vibration plates, orthosis.
- Support progress and physical health by prescribing and demonstrating at-home exercises to client, family and caregivers.
- Close collaboration with on and off site multidisciplinary teams e.g., Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy.
- Assist patient and family in obtaining appropriate assistive devices.
- Report writing, including NDIS reports, assistive technology reports, intensive summary reports, and letters of support for funding.
