  • Helping deliver great water quality along with managing corrosion & odour for our customers and operating and maintaining external customer owned recycled water plants. Working on a daily basis in the field with Odour Control Units and Chemical Dosing Units.
  • Responsible for operating re chlorination plants and water quality instruments across the water network to help manage water quality, chemical dosing units and odour control units across the wastewater network to help manage corrosion and some customer owned recycled water plants to agreed Health Standards and Legislative requirements

• Operating the plant in alignment with approve Production plans ensuring license and regulatory compliance, and approved budgets

• Operating the plant under routine conditions (and provide assistance during irregular or extreme conditions), in alignment with Treatment and Sydney Water frameworks including health and safety requirements, quality and information management protocols, incident response and business continuity frameworks • Executing on-site process and asset checks using available systems, processes and procedures

• Taking measurements from installed field instruments and execute lab testing, as required

• Performing process and equipment monitoring using SCADA

• Identifying, monitoring and resolve risks and issues during process and equipment monitoring activities and escalate as required

• Communicating between plants, (Liverpool STP) and the maintenance provider, and implementing planned work

• Reviewing draft and final PTWCs, confirming isolation requirements timing and availability, and confirming the isolation of assets and performing LOTOs for work to be completed

• Supporting development of routine shutdown and/or flow management plans for the Hub which minimise disruption & safety risks utilising asset isolation procedures

• Applying isolation to assets and perform LOTO for work to be completed

• Implementing plans to meet Hub KPI and performance targets

• Contributing to production availability in alignment with operational risk appetite, production and asset plans.
