30,000 k, 300, 300K, Provide leadership of the mental health services on the Northern Beaches, Development of a bi-annual business plan consistent/aligned to the NSLHD MHDA 10 year and operational plans within an accountability, effective and efficiency lens, Ongoing development and maintenance of high standards of clinical practice including the management of critical and adverse events as part of the MHDA quality framework, and the introduction of evidence based approaches to treatment, Service agreements/regular forums/meetings are in place or attendance at the same with other key services, agencies and providers, Ensuring high quality clinical services are in place during and after usual working hours that maximise safety for the consumers and staff of the mental health service, Provides effective leadership, coordination, integration and direction for the corporate and clinical governance of NBCMHS and its resources and facilities, Identify, analyse, evaluate and document in RiskIT all risks relevant to the NBCMHS, Ensure all Enterprise Risk Management modules in RiskIT are regularly monitored, updated and completed, Ensure Privacy legislation/Ministry of Health requirements are met in respect to the creation, maintenance, archiving and destruction of confidential documents and ensure the maintenance of strict confidentiality in relation to all consumer, staff, workplace and LHD matters, Implement the principles of Multiculturalism by ensuring NBCMHS is accessible and culturally appropriate to consumers, Participates in an on call after hour's roster for the NBCMHS Executive, Monitor NBCMHS performance and development including annual Performance Development Review, Mandatory Training completion rates and address variance/staff performance issues as required, according to NSLHD policies and procedures, Manage all aspects of the business administration of the service, maintaining a financially viable service and an efficient, effective, safe, and productive working environment, Plan and manage services within an ABF/ABM model including the effective implementation and utilisation of the AMHCC, Liaises and consults with professional coordinators and ensures clinical practice and protocols comply with best practice standards, Ensure participation of consumers, carers and the community in service planning, implementation and evaluation, Implement and review of quality improvement initiatives including the lead role in the accreditation process for NSLHD, Promote contemporaneous evidenced informed practice and processes and the use of process and outcome measurement, Ensure service developments are informed by evidence informed practice and population health data such as the changing demographics and needs of the population
