  • Responsible for the effective planning and organisation of Child Safety including VRQA requirements
  • Facilitate Child Safety Team meetings and complete ongoing audits of Child Safe Standards
  • Leading the implementation of the School Improvement Plan in the area of Student Wellbeing
  • Organisation of College events including whole College assemblies, Student Leadership Investiture Ceremony, Community and Partnership Day, Live Fully Act Justly Day, Year 10 Graduation, Parent Programs, Information Evenings, Community Conversation Evening, Parent Information Evening for Year 7 2026 Families and College Tours
  • Assist the Director of Catholic Identity and Mission in building, communicating and promoting the religious dimension of the College
  • Oversee College enrolments for incoming and outgoing students
  • Oversee student transition including effective planning and implementation of all student orientation programmes in collaboration with the College Transition Co-ordinator and Primary Links Team
  • Oversee Year 7 enrolment processes including facilitating Primary School visits and the collection of Grade 6 transition data
  • Collaboration with House and Student Leadership Co-ordinator to promote student agency and support the Student Leadership program
  • Liaise with Director of Student Wellbeing and Year Level Leaders on student concerns
  • Maintain high standards for and of students, staff, and all the college community
  • Developing the whole school wellbeing program in consultation with the Director of Student Wellbeing
  • Ongoing collaboration with Year Level Leaders, Learning Diversity and the College Counselling Team
  • Facilitate provisional enrolment meetings
  • Maintaining and developing the Student Wellbeing element of the College Learning Management System (SEQTA)
  • Follow up on concerns with any parent complaints
  • Overseeing and ensuring that detailed records of student incidents, PROTECT docs, parent meetings and referrals are kept and appropriately stored
  • Discipline matters are managed consistently and follow school policy
  • Support in the management of ongoing absences and school refusal concerns
  • Ensure uniform policy is updated, managed and adhered to
  • Use student data to identify student needs
  • Providing guidance, support and mentoring to members of the Wellbeing Leadership Team
  • Lead professional development through PPWs (Professional Practice Workshops) regarding student management and consistent classroom practices
  • Attend fortnightly SIFT (Student in Focus Team) meetings for Years 7-10
  • Managing all budgets associated with Student Wellbeing, Pastoral, Transition, Alumni and Live Fully Act Justly day
  • Facilitate Wellbeing Team meetings
  • Role model effective restorative practices with staff and students
  • Development of Wellbeing Program (Student Development Days, key presentations, cyber-bullying program etc)
  • Liaise with students, staff and parents on pastoral issues
  • Pastoral support of parents through phone calls, emails, meetings and referrals to external support
  • Consultation with Learning Diversity and College Counselling Team
  • Communication with College Community Liaison Officer
  • Liaise with external organisations such as Child Protection, DHHS, Orange Door etc
  • Attend retreats and camps
