Accomplishments

Recognising that many pregnant woman living with domestic violence and mental health issues were not receiving continuity of care from a known Midwife. Many of these women were receiving fragmented care in a busy system and research indicates that continuity of care with a known Midwife for these vulnerable groups of women improve outcomes for mother and baby. I researched and implemented a clinical model to recognise, recruit, and provide continuity of care with the aim to support, empower and navigate women though a vulnerable pregnancy.
