Roles And Responsibilities

  • Human Resourcing (VSP & HR Tools), IRMS, STAR, Finance and Assets (FABSNet) - part of the leadership team to oversee and resourcefully fund staffing and school improvement with a resource budget of between 2.5 and 3.2 million dollars.

  • Lead whole school Literacy Improvement, with staff analysing data to target and support the SIP.
  • Completed Step 4 and 5 processes/analysis of the Site Improvement Plan to determine next steps for whole school improvement.
  • Implemented evidence-based diagnostic assessment tools across the school to target individual student data against three tiers of intervention.
  • Successfully acquired a $10,000 Pirie Partnership grant to enhance Year 3-6 Educators' skills, knowledge, and understanding in planning and programming for improved outcomes in English.
  • Supported teachers in implementing the Curriculum Units and began mapping the English learning with expert support.
  • To foster innovation and efficiency, we transitioned our whole-school data to an online platform. This was driven by the active participation in Partnership days that focussed on using this platform at a leadership level. This change has significantly improved our ability to track and monitor student progress, as staff members now use the platform collaboratively in Learning Teams to plan their teaching and learning strategies. To facilitate this transition, I led Microsoft Teams professional development sessions in partnership with our IT staff member, empowering our team members with the confidence and skills needed to access and utilise the platform effectively.
