Summary

I am a passionate and dedicated primary school educator with two years of experience. My teaching philosophy involves making a positive impact on all children I encounter by supporting and developing meaningful classroom interactions. The quote “people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care” particularly resonates with me as I strive to engage students in learning through building trust and by providing a secure and safe learning environment. My pedagogical approach has naturally guided me towards the role of a facilitator with students being active in their learning, and through the Australian curriculum I endeavour to provide access to many empowering and dynamic opportunities which will equip students with life-long skills. I personally exhibit a high level of enthusiasm and intensity within my own professional practice and my open mindset and desire to continually develop has equipped me with tools to support me through my career as a primary school teacher.
