Summary

Through my diverse skills, extensive background, and hands-on experience in the retail and reception industry, I bring a valuable set of capabilities that contribute in success. Having started my working career in retail in 2010, I gained valuable expertise within customer service. This experience instilled in me a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. I consistently delivered high-quality results while adhering to strict timelines and specifications. After working in retail, I took a job as a sales representative at Marquis Media, which I learnt the skill of cold calling clients and maintaining relationships with current clients. During my time there I took a brief break from work which is when I had my son in 2016. After some time with my son, I went back in 2017. Building on my skill set, I transitioned to a career of reception/administration each tax season from 2019 - 2022. During this time, I developed proficiency in various administration skills, including standard COVID safe cleaning duties, answering client calls and responding to client and staff emails in a timely manner. I excelled in delivering exceptional customer service whilst maintaining a keen focus on organization. Since 2019 my job in reception was for the tax season (approximately 3 - 4 months each season from the 1st of July) I worked at Kmart, which helped me expand my skill set in retail and the warehouse working environment. Recognizing the importance of continuous growth, I embarked on a journey into the world of health care at the beginning of 2023, which I am currently still progressing in. This opportunity has been a great start to better my life as I always wanted to further my passion for helping others and provide excellent care for people while doing so. In addition to my professional experience, I am a single parent. This has taught me valuable skills such as multitasking and time management, which I believe would translate well into the workplace. I am confident that my experience as a single parent has made me a stronger and more adaptable person, and I am eager to apply these skills to my work.
