As a Trainee Veterinary Nurse, I assist in providing high-quality care to animals while gaining practical experience and knowledge in Veterinary Nursing.

Some of my roles include:

• Assisting veterinary staff in the care and treatment of animals
• Preparation of animals for surgery and other procedures
• Monitoring and recording vital signs and general health of patients
• Help in the administration of medications and treatments as directed
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the veterinary practice, including equipment and facilities
• Engaging with pet owners, providing them with information and support

As a trainee vet nurse, I’ve developed hands-on skills in providing medical care and compassionate support for animals. My training has strengthened both my clinical abilities and my understanding of the importance of empathy and dedication in animal care.

I was extremely fortunate to be employed as an Administration Officer at 'CloNutrition', an upstart which creates tailored nutritional plans for various individuals.

The role entailed:

• Replying to emails and phone calls
• Assisting in the creation of specified meal plans
• Contacting agencies and individuals for collaborations and advertising
• Processing purchase orders and drafting and distributing invoices.

This job taught me incredible discipline as we worked to meet strict deadlines. It also equipped me with patience, time management and initiative, qualities which are necessary in both the work force and also in life.

I was employed by Buttercup Australia, as a stock replenisher and customer service assistant at Coles. As a customer service assistant, I would provide any support necessary.

Some of my responsibilities entailed:

• Restocking shelves
• Answering calls
• Collecting orders
• Greeting guests with friendliness and professionalism'

This job entails early rises and a high standard of quality as we had to abide by safe food handling and WH&S standards.

I was employed at the KFC franchise in Hoxton Park for 1 year. Although not a long time, I learnt many important skills that I continue to use to this day.

Some of my responsibilities included:

• Serving customers
• Money handling
• Packing orders
• Abiding by safe food handling & WH&S standards
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment to ensure customer safety
• Collaborating with team members to improve overall customer experience and boost company reputation
• Developing strong relationships with customers, establishing trust and loyalty through attentive service

I am grateful for my time at KFC as it was my first ever job and taught me a lot as well as giving me a great insight into the work industry.
