Hi, my name is Kate and I would like to apply for the position of Part-time Medical Receptionist at your Box Hill Orthopaedic Practice. I am a qualified pharmacist with over 25 years experience in the pharmacy field. I chose to work in Community Pharmacy as I thrive on being part of a team that provides exceptional customer service accessible to everyone. I am skilled in working collaboratively with patients, colleagues and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care. It is because of these interpersonal relationships and connections with many different people that I have loved my job for so many years.
With my qualification, I have a proven ability to accurately and efficiently fill medication prescriptions while adhering to safety and quality control. I have an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and my role as a pharmacist has involved me constantly problem solving and providing high level outcomes. I am competent in the day to day management of a store, dispensary inventory management and order processing.
I am friendly, compassionate and demonstrate genuine understanding, comfort and support to all patients which I value highly. I have extensive experience in delivering outstanding customer service, resolving issues and managing inquiries. I take pride in providing a high level of efficient quality care and quality of service. I have excellent communication skills, a professional attitude and keen attention to detail. I am hard working and work within an organisation as if it were my own. No task is too small or too great as I am always open to learning new skills.

I am organised and willing to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals. I am hoping to find a position that utilises interpersonal skills, offers professional challenges and involves excellent communication that allows me to assist patients with knowledge that will protect their ongoing health.
I am currently working casually as a pharmacist however am flexible with my hours and am available on a Tuesday and Thursday as advertised. I am keen to expand my experience in the medical industry and would love to work in your organisation.
