Premature failure on the 797 rax links found cause for a RCA meeting and the opportunity to fault find. Cat recommends 90w min. Our workshop was found to be running 50w. One of our sisters sites by even better demonstration than OEM was to utilize 85w135.
The outcome was to source the appropriate oil and flush the entire fleet on a by service basis until all of the fleet was changed over.
