Summary

A passionate educator turned customer and community manager, I am a dynamic professional with a unique combination of experiences that have shaped my career trajectory. With a Bachelor of Education degree and eight years in the classroom, I have aquired invaluable skills in communication, fostering relationships, and creating supportive environments, all of which are transferable to my new path in customer and community management.

In my teaching years, I have been responsible for nurturing an inclusive and engaging environment for diverse groups of students, a skill that translates seamlessly into fostering a vibrant, supportive community for women. My commitment to championing diversity and inclusivity aligns perfectly with my passion for empowering women, a cause I hold close to my heart.

I am proud to have been part of the Happiness Co's Speakers Project, where I learned the power of storytelling as a tool for connection, empathy, and inspiration. This experience, coupled with my mental health first aid certificate, has equipped me with the knowledge and sensitivity to handle delicate situations and provide meaningful support to those navigating their mental health journeys.

Recently, I attended Tony Robbins' "Unleash The Power Within" event in Sydney. The transformative experience not only reinforced my commitment to personal growth and development, but also ignited a desire to help other women harness their potential and navigate their unique paths. I am eager to bring this passion to my role as a customer and community manager, using my insights to inspire, motivate, and empower.

My career transition is driven by a deep-seated desire to make a difference outside the classroom. Leveraging my past experiences, I am ready to take on this new challenge with enthusiasm and dedication. I am a proactive problem-solver, ready to tackle both high-level projects and administrative tasks with equal vigor. This versatility, combined with my unwavering commitment to fostering growth, positions me uniquely for a role in customer and community management.
