This involves liaising with contractors, such as cleaners, gardeners and maintenance providers. Organise schedules, oversee their work and ensure it meets the scheme’s standards and expectations.
  • Requesting and evaluating quotes from reliable contractors. After approving the scope of work, oversee the project to ensure that it meets the agreed standard and addresses any areas where improvement is necessary with the contractor.
  • Payment of contractor accounts for maintenance work or utilities.
  • Assist in resolving disputes between owners or an owner and the strata company. Also advise on and assist in the enforcement of by-laws and ensure all residents understand and follow the rules.

  • I provided specialist administrative support to the Environmental Health Team including on-site sewage management (OSSM), food premises, temporary food stalls, amusement devices, hairdressers, beauticians, skin penetration premises, commercial swimming pools, caravan parks and compliance matters.
  • Through the use of Smartsheet I have implemented new and improved ways the team perform major functions including food inspections, temporary food stall applications, market inspection program, tracking mobile food vans and home businesses, agendas, minutes and rosters.
  • I worked as part of the team and autonomously and was sometimes the only team member in the office to run the day to day functions of Environmental Health
  • I played a key role in developing and implementing the record management system for the Environmental Health Section including the development of certification approvals, general approvals, permits and licenses. We began the process with data cleansing and worked through each workflow - testing at every stage - to achieve the workable product we now use. My coordinator and Team Leader view my skills as an integral part to the success of the development for our section.
