Work History

Nurse Practitioner

The Glasgow Skin Clinic
07.2015 - Current

My current role is multi-faceted. I provide nursing and medical services, and care, to patients with acute and chronic conditions.

Over the past few years, I have offered consultations for the management of menopause and women's health. I am competent in IUD insertion and have presented at several conferences on oestrogen deficient skin and the importance of the menopause consultation in all areas of healthcare. I have also had several publications regarding this. I am very passionate about raising awareness of the effects of oestrogen deficiency on all body systems.

I am responsible for skin cancer screening, excision of lesions and patient education surrounding skin cancer risk factors. My role in minor dermatology enables me to assess, manage and work with patients to develop treatment plans for conditions like acne, rosacea, and eczema, prescribing topical treatments, oral medications, and recommending lifestyle changes.

I am also responsible for IV Vitamin, Iron infusions and IM injections. I have 15 years experience working in cosmetic medicine and use multiple modalities to assist the facial and body aging process, including resurfacing laser, chemical peels, bio-stimulating and bio-remodelling injections. I am therefore proficient in skin assessment, managing burns and wound healing.

I work closely with edocrinologists, surgeons, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, GP's and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for my patients. I often refer patients for imaging and more complex procedures or treatments.
